Sundays Down on the Farm

Most Sunday's are spent down on the farm. Unofficially it's a gathering my family does on most weekends. It began a few years ago when my sister started taking her two dogs down to my parents dairy farm in Koonwarra for a run about and a spot of cat casing. Now this has become an informal family luncheon. Although all my family reside in the same district, and on most weeks have occasion to see each other at least once, i still find it nice to gather and catch-up (or argue about) the current affairs of our lives over chicken burgers or mum's yummy homemade sausage rolls. This is espically delightful in the winter months as my parents have the most wonderful log fire in the loungeroom to sit by. Last week i took my new Cannon EOS with me to capture some of the more interesting sights of winter time down on the farm.The great pumpkin harvest

An Ocean Voyage

So longing am i for the day when i can set sail across the seas, free from work and bills and taxes, with sun shining down and warm breezes gently blowing past, how divine. But sadly i find myself wrapped up in bed, chicken soup in hand, listing to the stormy weather outside whilst trying to get over the flu from hell.

So it would seem that the evil flu virus that has been plaguing me for over a week now has finally won the battle. I've been forced to take a short hiatus from work for a few days in the hope that i can recover quickly. Processing of orders will resume this Monday the 16th after a nice long weekend in bed. Due to this there may be some delays in answering emails and sending order when i'm back up and running.
Ahh, now where's that chicken soup.....

Jodies First Sale

I big congratulations to my little sister Jodie, just last week she made her very first sale through her brand new "Made It" store CRITTERS4OSCAR. Named for her 2 year old son, Jodie hand makes a range of bright and funky home furnishings, cot blankets and wall art. The inspiration for her works came when she was unable to find anything unique to decorate her son's nursery. Tired of the same old over commercialized Disney characters, she made her own.

Happy Birthday Horses

Happy Birthday to all the beautiful horses out there. This is my horse "Girl" dress-up in her party finest.
In the Southern Hemisphere all horses except Standardbreds officially turn a year older on the first of August. Now Girl is a registered Standardbred so she don't officially have her birthday for another month and beacuse i no longer her papers i don't know when her actual birthday is, but anyway i'm still going to throw a party. "Cheers Girl".
